Our Pet Lizard

We get a lot of lizards around here. They hang around our backyard and we can usually see them climbing on the wall of our garage (it's detached). Emma usually gets excited and says, "woozard! woozard!"

Well, one day someone left the back door open, and guess who popped in to say hello? Yes, a lizard. And guess what? Lizards are not easy to get out of your house! They're fast and they're small. And they like to stay away from people. It took an hour to get him out (although much of that was giving up when I couldn't find him), and a well-aimed water bottle. The girls sure got a kick out of it though!
