Lost Treasures

The first four pictures on this post are from the SD card that was jammed into my "broken" but now working camera. This first picture is from the beginning of August. Naomi told us she was going to write Emma's name. She wrote "Emmia" and then her name. We didn't even tell her how to write Emma's name; she just did it! I love her "E", by the way.
Here are Naomi and Kurt enjoying a favorite activity--playing "Kirby's Epic Yarn", or "Curvy" as Naomi likes to call it. It's a video game on the Wii.
Mid-August we went to the Ukrainian festival. We sort of missed most of the fun activities, so when we got home, Kurt dressed up in his Cossack outfit for Naomi.

These pictures are from last Thursday. At storytime, Emma was very determined to put on her shoes. She spent maybe 15 minutes getting them on, and she did NOT want help.
 Success!

Afterward, we played outside, and Emma loved pushing Naomi on her bike.

Naomi did such a good job of writing Emma's name. She is so smart. Love Emma putting on her shoes "BY HER SELF" very cute!
