Here I am with Mandy and Tapa's daughter, Ari. Ari is really cute and she makes me laugh. During the whole trip she called me "grandma" and Kurt "papa". We all got a kick out of it.
On Monday we went to a different beach, this time with Mandy and the kids. Mandy and Tapa have a girl, Ari, who is nine months older than Naomi, and a son, Joseph, who is 3 1/2 months. Joseph stayed in the baby tent (that purple thing in the left of the picture) to keep out of the sun and sand. Two of the sides were screens so he could see out and keep cool.
Ari loved playing with "Papa".
Here Naomi and I enjoy the beach. Naomi loved standing on the beach close to the ocean and feeling the waves come up and hit her legs.
It wouldn't be a good beach day without some playing in the sand. Ari would fill up the bucket with sand and make a mound, then Naomi would knock it down. I don't think Ari liked that too much, but she was pretty patient about it.
