On Memorial Day it was pretty hot, so we decided to go swimming and break out the water slide. The water slide was a huge hit...
...which Emma LOVED, since she got the pool all to herself.
That night we went to Jeff's house. He's one of Kurt's fellow classmates. He was hosting a "sliders competition". We didn't really enter the competition, but the food was good! Kurt's classmates (or the girls, anyway) were oohing and aahing over how cute our kids are.
The next was the last day of the Creative Class our housing complex has every week during the school year.
The kids got popsicles, played with chalk...
...and hit open a pinata. It was great!
After the class we decided to go out to eat, since our power died on us for five hours on the hottest day of summer! I didn't trust my chicken or have means to cook it, so we ate at the mall with our friends, Tyler and Rebe. Naomi was so excited to be going somewhere with them.
