Emma's Blessing

Kurt's parents, brother, and sister flew in Easter weekend so we could bless Emma. My mom also stayed a few extra days so she could be there for the occasion. This is Emma in her blessing dress. It is the same dress we blessed Naomi in.
Here are the men who blessed Emma. Brother Porter from the Bishopric came so we could bless Emma at home. From left to right is Brother Porter, Boyd Mildenstein (Papa), Kurt Mildenstein (holding Emma), and uncle Jon Mildenstein.
And here are the women. Left to right is aunt Emily Mildenstein, Paula Mildenstein (Nana, holding Naomi), Traci Mildenstein (holding Emma), and Lorene Durland (grandma).
And a family shot.
Naomi loved playing with Emma.

In light of the blessing, I thought I'd mention some characteristics of Emma that we've noticed already. So far, Emma is a very sweet baby. She is very peaceful and hardly ever cries. She seems very observant. She loves to watch people and she loves to smile. Emma is a joy to be around and we are very glad she has come to our family.
