Joan got married on Saturday the 27th of October. The ceremony was beautiful. We're excited to have Dan in our family now.
The girls got to wear pretty dresses that matched Joan's wedding dress.
Kurt was on a pretty busy rotation during the month of October and could only get one day off for the wedding (we're told he was lucky to even get that day). He flew in that morning after working until almost 2 am the night before. He was pretty exhausted. Here he is passed out on the way to the luncheon. He had to leave halfway through the luncheon to catch his flight back so he could work the next day.
The reception was very nice. The girls were pretty tired by this point, so they stayed in the kids' room and watched a movie while making candy necklaces.

We sent off the bride and groom with sparklers. It was a great day for a wedding, and we're excited for Joan and Dan as they start this new chapter in their lives.
