The day after Naomi's birthday we held a party for her friends. We blew bubbles while we waited for friends to show up.
The birthday girl.
Inside we drew and played with construction paper and markers.
Then it was time for the pinata, or the "yada" as Naomi likes to say. Halloween pinatas were on sale, so we got a black kitty. Hey, as long as there's candy, that's what really matters, right?
The much sought-after loot. No one broke the pinata, so Kurt had to tear it open. Actually, he was hitting it with the pinata stick and he knocked it to the ground. He started to whack it on the ground until he realized how it must look to a group of 3-year-olds to see him hitting this defenseless black cat.
Then we came inside to open presents.
And eat cake.
One of Naomi's presents was a sweater, which she insisted was a blanket for a while.
